Talk Therapy
I like to create a warm environment where you feel empowered to take an active role in your healing journey. I utilize a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques, finding an organic balance of structure and freedom tailored to your goals and needs. While theory is important, research shows that the most impactful aspect of therapy is the therapist-client relationship, so fostering a healing relationship is my primary goal.

Areas of Interest
Trauma
I work with clients who are healing from both acute and complex trauma, including relational trauma and spiritual abuse. Together, we build a sense of safety while gently working to process the emotional and somatic impact of the past.
Embodiment & Somatic Connection
In a culture that often pulls us into our heads, I support clients in reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. This work can be especially helpful for those who feel disconnected, chronically tense, or have difficulty accessing emotion.
Anxiety
From constant overthinking to panic or performance pressure, anxiety can take many forms. I help clients understand the roots of their anxiety and learn to relate to it with curiosity, compassion, and new tools.
Depression
Whether you're navigating a persistent sense of heaviness or feeling stuck in cycles of self-criticism and numbness, we’ll work to increase self-understanding, reconnect with meaning, and develop strategies for forward movement.
Life Transitions
Whether it's a career change, a breakup, a move, or a new chapter, transitions often stir up uncertainty and opportunity. I help clients navigate these periods with intention, clarity, and self-compassion.
Mindfulness & Spirituality
I hold space for clients who want to integrate mindfulness practices or explore their spiritual life—especially those navigating shifts in belief systems, recovering from religious trauma, or seeking a sense of grounded connection.
Expressive Arts Therapy
Expressive Arts Therapy, or EXAT, is a therapeutic approach that weaves together various creative forms to support your healing journey. Think of it as a holistic process that might include movement, visual arts, writing, or drama techniques. What sets EXAT apart from traditional art therapy is its integration of multiple art forms–for example, you might find yourself painting in response to music, or molding clay while practicing a mindfulness technique. At its heart, EXAT is about the artistic process itself, not about creating a masterpiece. No prior art experience is necessary to benefit from this powerful approach.
Who Can Benefit from this Therapy?
I truly believe that anyone can benefit from EXAT. However, I'll always tailor its incorporation to align with your unique interests and specific treatment goals. This process is intuitive, collaborative, and uniquely personal—never one-size-fits-all. Clients working through issues like grief, trauma, emotional regulation, embodiment, or mindfulness often find that EXAT opens up powerful new avenues for insight and healing.
